About Us

mHealthKarma is a non profit improving Healthcare access for mothers and children in remote Amazon communities through Indigenous partnerships and community-led, sustainable health systems.

Over the years, our intercultural work has helped improve healthcare access for mothers and children in remote Amazon communities, strengthening local systems and supporting the wellbeing of Indigenous families.

Collaboration with Communities

Creating Impact for a better Tomorrow

In the Yasuní region in Orellana Province in Ecuador, we are developing a community dispensary to provide access to essential medicines and basic healthcare supplies, supported by hands-on training.

The initiative includes a doctor and a nurse who will train a local community member, enabling the dispensary to be managed sustainably and in alignment with local cultural practices.

Empowering children in the Andes with essential reading and writing skills to create stronger educational opportunities and brighter futures.

This initiative helps children develop essential reading and writing skills while promoting sustainable, community-based education programs. By working closely with local educators and families, the program ensures long-term learning opportunities that respect cultural identity and strengthen the resilience of Andean and Amazon communities.

Older adults in remote communities often face limited access to healthcare. We work to strengthen local care systems that support healthy, dignified, and resilient aging.

Strengthening women’s leadership and opportunities in remote communities through education, healthcare support, and sustainable development programs.

Climate change is increasing health risks in remote communities. We work with local partners to strengthen resilience through healthcare access, education, and sustainable development.

We strengthen sustainable communities through local leadership, education, and healthcare that supports long-term resilience and independence.
